On Saturday a few of us went on a run in Regent's Park. Was a productive morning! I think the boys had a good run. And, I realized I'll be happy if I don't pass out at the finish line. Check out a few photos from the day.

What are NTDs?
The Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) are diseases of neglect and affect poorest people of the world.
The good news? Seven of the most common NTDs are treatable and at a low cost.
A mix of parasitic, helminth (worm) and bacterial diseases make up the 7 most common NTDs.
Your 50 cent ($USD) contribution funds treatment of one person against 7 infectious diseases!
i.e. $10 (USD) treats 20 ppl, $20 treats 40 ppl..etc

WHAT'S GOING ON??
Dear Family and Friends,
Welcome to the HPPF and PHP 2010 Paris Half Marathon update and fundraising site!
We are master's students studying Health Policy, Planning and Financing (HPPF) and Public Health (PHP) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and the London School of Economics (LSE).
We represent a most extensive variety of countries, cultures, jobs and academic backgrounds but share a common goal of improving global health.
On March 7, 2010 over 20 of our classmates will be running in the Paris Semi Marathon. We have chosen the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Disease's, "Just 50 Cents " campaign as our charity. We would be grateful if you would join us in our support of this important cause!
We have set a campaign goal of $8,000 and look forward to updating you as we continue with our training and fundraising endeavors.
Please see the post below for more information on the campaign and how to donate.
Many thanks for your time and support!
Warmest Regards,
The HPPF and PHP Class of 2010
